1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the website of The Propannex Council (ELT Professionals Board) ("the Council") and the membership services we provide. By using this website or becoming a member, you agree to these terms.
2. The Council's status
The Council is an independent professional membership body. We are not a course provider, an awarding organisation or a government regulator. Membership, recognition and provider recognition are professional in nature and do not confer any statutory qualification or licence.
3. Membership
- Membership is personal and non-transferable, except for organisational memberships as agreed in writing.
- Subscriptions are payable in advance and renew annually unless cancelled.
- We may decline or withdraw membership where the code of practice is breached.
- Use of any post-nominal is permitted only while the relevant membership or recognition is current.
4. Recognition and the provider directory
Provider recognition reflects an assessment against our published criteria at a point in time and may be reviewed or withdrawn. Listings and reviews in the Recognised Providers directory are provided for information. We are not party to any contract between you and a training provider, and we are not responsible for the courses or services they supply.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the website unlawfully or in a way that harms the Council or other users.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to member-only areas or our systems.
- Do not copy or redistribute member resources outside the terms of your membership.
6. Intellectual property
The content on this website, including the standards framework, the ELT Review and resource library, is owned by or licensed to the Council. Members may use resources for their own teaching but may not resell or republish them.
7. Limitation of liability
The website and its content are provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, the Council is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the website, the directory or any third-party provider.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
